I know it's been a while since the finale. But...I still want to put my input.

Avatar : The Last Airbender has been a obsession of mine for a while now. I haven't put it up, because I thought it would fade away after a few episodes.

WRONG.

The finale was beautiful. Stunning, with extrodinary details and eye-catching art, Mike and Bryan really did a great job.

I love how Azula goes insane. It was surprising and very shocking how crazy Azula went without the trust of Mai and Tai Lee. She really is nothing without her friends. Honestly, she reminded me of the snobby prep at school who freaks out when she's friendless.

Sokka, as usual, delivered with great funny lines. "Airbending Slice!" He makes me laugh. Although I wish he were with Yue, Suki is a good replacement.

Toph. I love that girl with a passion. She is freakin awesome. She rocks! Ha-ha! *is shot* I love her sarcasm and joking around. I really wish Toph would have found somebody to be with. She deserves a good man. *cough* Aang *cough*

Aang did a good job, I suppose. I like him and all, but I wish he had just gotten rid of Ozai. And with all his flirting with Katara...it strikes a open wound with me...I mean, isn't he a monk? Aang has really matured up, and I'm glad he did. Aang's cool.

Katara. You really got to love her. I mean, sure she's bossy sometimes, but she has to be. Katara is the essence of standing up for yourself. She's brave and strong, unafraid of the consequences. Katara is really cool. *is shot again* Cool! Like ice? *flees from guns*

And finally...Zuko. He's just freaking awesome. He's had so much pressure in the last few episodes, trying to figure out if he did the right thing. I love him so much. I'm obsessed, I admit it.

And if you've read my recent comments and looked at my recent faves, you knew this was coming. ZUTARA!!!

The Zutara moment at the end was beautiful. It was breath-taking. Zuko taking a bolt of lightning for Katara...you KNOW there's something between them greater then friendship. I'm confused, super confused. How did Zutara NOT happen? Zuko saves Katara's life. Check. Katara heals him. Check. The two share a precious moment, reliving their hardships and growing so close, realizing how close they actually are. Checky-check-check. Katara kisses Aang, and the series ends. WTF?

So at this time, I will have a brief moment of silence so all my fellow Zutarians can wonder why.








There we are. Overall, I loved the finale. The cliffhanger proves there will be more coming. I can't wait. Maybe Zutara could still happen...
